Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks

I want to thank Chief Launderville, our Board of Alderman and City Administration for their efforts to create additional parking for Bikefest. As a gesture of good will to Lake Ozark business owners, tourists, Bikefest attendees and the entire Lake of the Ozarks community, The City of Lake Ozark has taken swift action to allow Bike parking on the lower end of the Bagnell Dam Strip. Although Bikefest is not a city event we recognize that the Bagnell Dam Strip has historically been the epicenter for Bikefest attendees to gather. The Bagnell Dam Strip is a special place at Lake of the Ozarks, offering pedestrian, vehicular and boat accessibility to our businesses unlike any other area at Lake of the Ozarks. Over the 90 years Bagnell Dam has been in existence, many events have been held on the strip with much success creating the unique identity the Bagnell Dam Strip has today. We want to continue this history as we grow and welcome tourists to our town and surrounding communities.
