Lake Ozark Citizens and Business Owners April 5th is Municipal Elections. We have 4 Board of Alderman positions up for grabs. Three of these seats are being sought after by new BOA candidates Sherry Jackson, David Ridgely and Krista Watts. I like to think of them like a legal firm… Jackson, Ridgely & Watts “Representing You!”
You turned out in record numbers last April to support me, I ask that you turn out again in BIG numbers as this election is even more important than our last election. Getting our roads rebuilt, extending sewer and water into areas without it, increasing High Speed Internet Access to our citizens and many other initiatives can and will happen with a strong desire to accomplish these goals.
I would like to introduce these 3 new candidates to you, in their own words…
“I moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1987 and went to work at Glencove Marina. My husband and I became owners in 2011. We raised our two children who graduated from School of the Osage and still live and work at the lake.
I gained valuable experience in building a business, management, budgeting and how to work with the community and its visitors. I retired from the Marine industry in 2016 and now I’d love to place my efforts into the growth of our city and for the citizens of Lake Ozark.”
~ Sherry Jackson
“I have been visiting the lake area since childhood and moved here permanently over 22 years ago. I have owned various businesses since graduating from the University of Missouri in 1985.
Lake Ozark has been a special place to me over the years. I’d like to use my business experience to serve the community and ensure it continues to be a special place for local residents and visitors alike.”
~ David Ridgely
“I can’t remember a time when Lake of the Ozarks hasn’t been a part of my life. I became a full time resident in 2005 when Maurices opened a store here. I am currently a District Leader for Maurices. I am married with two daughters who both graduated from School of the Osage. I truly care about the people of Lake Ozark and would love to be a voice for you.”
~ Krista Watts
Thank you for your continued support!
