Yesterday the Secretary of State Jay Ascroft’s office released the findings of the signatures collected noting them as Insufficient for the Initiative Petition that would permit Missourians to vote on amending the Missouri Constitution to allow a 14th Casino license to be issued on the Osage River.
While we are disappointed to learn of this we are happy to learn that Osage River Gaming and Ballys are committed to learning of the deficiencies, and responding back to the Secretary of States office with information that could change the status including an appeal process if needed. While this remains promising we will continue to remain supportive of the extensive efforts the Osage River Gaming and Ballys staff have extended to our community in their efforts to build a first class entertainment destination in Lake Ozark.
