On behalf of the City of Lake Ozark, we are very grateful to Head Motor Company, Indian Motorcycle and Slingshot for their generous donation of $25k that will go to the Lake Ozark Police Department and Public Works.
The City of Lake Ozark and our Bagnell Dam Strip host numerous events on an annual basis, these events stress the cities limited resources. A donation such as this commitment of $25k for the next four years will make a big difference in providing a better quality event with more safety and security for attendees and business owners. I would like to point out that the citizens and business owners of Lake Ozark have came out to me personally in big support of this type of arrangement and so has our Police Department personnel. Given the level of appreciation for this public private collaboration I have asked that our Events Committee seek ways of expanding this promising source of revenue. At present time we are having discussions with other corporate entities for further consideration of partnerships like this.
We wish our business owners much success this year for the “Rally on the Strip”. I also want to thank our residents for their patience with the additional traffic while we all WELCOME those that attend our events.
