Recently Chamber President Cole Bradbury reached out to me to share MODOT’s proposed Interchange project at I-70 & Hwy 54 in Kingdom City. The time for public comments expired today, I sent a letter to MODOT yesterday requesting a 30 day extension of time for public comments. MODOT responded that they would extend public comments until March 15th. Area residents this is NOT a Lake Ozark discussion, all communities South of the Kingdom City Interchange should be engaged. Jefferson City as well as all Lake area Cities are impacted by the ease of access to our communities through this interchange. Our towns are growing at a historical pace, this project will have long lasting effects on Central Missouri, let’s make sure this interchange is designed with our future growth in mind and in a manner that gives benefit to us all.
